To show solidarity in commemorating Bloody Sunday, when Hon. Bro John Lewis, Hon. Bro. Hosea Williams, and other peaceful protesters crossed the Edmund Pettus bridge in Selma, AL to commemorate the fatal shooting of Jimmie Lee Jackson and demand the right to vote. We plan to rally on the Maryland side of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, march to the Virginia side, and then rebound in the park below the bridge (Jones Point Park). We will bring attention to current Voting Rights Issues like election misinformation, voter fraud prosecution, Supreme Court rulings for Merril v. Milligan & Moore v Harper, and new laws set against assistance with mail-in ballots and drop boxes.
