Celebration of JUNETEENTH!
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Sigma Sigma Sigma Chapter, in partnership with Taylor Morse Brown Foundation, Inc. will host a phenomenal Juneteenth Celebration! Proceeds from this event will benefit the Taylor Morse Brown Foundation’s John Lewis Good Trouble Scholarship. Juneteenth, an annual remembrance of the end of slavery in the United States following the Civil War, has been celebrated by African Americans since the late 1800s. This year will commemorate the 160th Anniversary of Juneteenth. The evening consisted of networking, music by DJ DC, cash bar, light fare and a true reflection of our ancestors who fought and paved the way for our freedom. We will have comments from local and national legislative representatives. 🗓 Date: 06/19/2025 from 5 to 9 PM 📍 Location: 5S Lounge, 12617 Laurel-Bowie Rd, Laurel, MD 20708 How Much: $10.00 Donation Live music, great food, and history—let’s celebrate freedom together!
