In Celebration of JUNETEENTH!

This annual Juneteenth celebration event is being hosted in partnership with Mr. Braxton’s Bar & Kitchen, located at 3632 Georgia Avenue, Washington, DC. The evening will consist of music by DJ DC, a cash bar, small plates and remembering our ancestors who led the way for our freedom.

This is a Sigma Black Spend Initiative event, hosted by Sigma Sigma Sigma Chapter, a key programmatic initiative of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity to support Black-owned businesses. The public is invited to join our Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration:

What: Sigma Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration

When: Monday, June 19, 2023, beginning at 6:00 PM EST

Where: Mr. Braxton’s Bar & Kitchen | 3632 Georgia Avenue | Washington, DC

Attire:  Smart Casual

Admission: $20 with all proceeds to benefit The Taylor Morse Brown (TMB) Foundation. The Foundation is a charitable tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization that was launched in 2013 and provides funding for the John Lewis Good Trouble Scholarship. The Foundation serves as the philanthropic arm of the Sigma Sigma Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
