Each Thanksgiving Season, the SSS Sigma Beta Club (SBC) sponsors several Thanksgiving Baskets for families in need. Each basket contains a turkey along with the sides and trimmings necessary to prepare a home cooked holiday meal. The Club seeks to support families primarily in Montgomery County and/or connected to our Chapter and Sigma Beta Club network with a need for support.
Our Sigma Betas perform service by stuffing the baskets during our session prior to the holiday and the SBC Committee coordinates distribution of the baskets a few days prior to the holiday.
If you know of a family in need this Thanksgiving season that meets the criteria or if a Brother would like to donate a Turkey or funds to support this initiative, please reach out to the SBC Coordinator Brother Fyle via e-mail at rofyle@gmail.com or voice at 571-232-8925.
We would like to identify the families as soon as possible, and no later than Friday, November 11, 2023.
